One Williamsburg Wharf, a 22-story residential tower located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, recently introduced New York City’s first-ever private outdoor ice skating rink. Developed by the Naftali Group and designed by Brand Haw Architecture, the 22-story building yields 89 residences, and opened its doors in 2024.
Apartments at One Williamsburg Wharf range from studio to three-bedroom configurations, as well as six penthouses. Interiors feature a curtain wall of windows with bronze mullions, and wide plank white oak floors. Additional touches include in-home washers and dryers, select units with direct roof terrace access, and wine refrigerators from Sub-Zero or U-Line.
Amenities span approximately 20,000 square feet and include a recreation club with a 60-foot pool, a fitness center, coworking lounges, and private dining spaces. Other amenities include a children’s playroom, pet grooming stations, and a landscaped ninth-floor terrace.
The new outdoor ice rink is elevated above the Williamsburg waterfront, offering views of the Manhattan skyline. Using Glice, a synthetic ice technology, the rink will transform from a summer pool into a winter skating destination with the seasons.
